EASTER IS PAGAN AND NOT HOLY

DEUTERONOMY 12:29-32

“29 When the Lord thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land; 30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. 32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.”

The above passage is what God instructed the children of Israel to do throughout their generations: they are not to learn from the other nations—the heathen nations—nations that don’t fear, serve or revere the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They are not to copy, rebrand or Christianise the way the other nations worship their gods and worship God the same way. Do not attempt to take what is unclean and present it to me—that’s the instruction from God. Who can bring a clean thing out of the unclean? Let us see.

JOB 14:4 “Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.”

They are not permitted to add to, subtract from or modify the word of God; worship God as instructed—nothing more and nothing less.

However, these instructions have been ignored and overlooked. We do things that God has not instructed us to do; people do so simply thinking that with a sincere heart and the desire to worship God, we can offer Him anything we choose—whether clean or unclean. Does sincerity mean we can offer to God what he detests? Just because our hearts are sincere, does it mean we can set up altars for Ashtoreth and Baal?

Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Easter Sunrise Service, Lent, Ash Wednesday, and many more, are traditions of men and not commanded by God—they are commandments of men. Christians have done exactly what God said they should not do—they have done the opposite. Although many do these things in ignorance and unknowingly with a sincere desire to please and worship God, they are still being disobedient to God.  God has not permitted us to worship Him our way. He has clearly outlined how we are to worship Him—the kind of feast days we should keep (see Leviticus 23). We should not accept any tradition with Christian-sounding names or anything with the sticker of the name of Jesus pasted on it. We should make sure that what we are doing is what He asks us to do exactly—nothing more and nothing less.

So many Christians today reject the commandments given in Deuteronomy 12:29-32 and think that with a sincere desire to serve God, they can do what they want. Sincerity is not a test for the truth; one can be sincere but sincerely wrong and disobedient. Many of the pagan traditions with Christian-sounding names may look innocent and harmless on the surface, but deeper beyond the surface, they are the ways of death. Watch this:

PROVERBS 14:12 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

As Christians, we don’t have the permission to create our standard of righteousness; God has already drawn the boundary—a distinction between what is right and what is not. Celebrating Easter with a sincere heart is like offering pig to God on the altar with a sincere heart—will He accept it?

Let us see:

MATTHEW 7:21 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”

AMOS 5:21-23

“21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. 22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. 23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.”

What matters is doing what God instructs us to—doing things according to His will— Easter is not His will. The Bible clearly instructs us to enter through the narrow gate but many have refused to obey this instruction thinking they can celebrate Easter, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Easter Sunrise Service, Lent, Ash Wednesday, and all the traditions of men. Obedience is required to walk in the narrow path—one cannot mix the ways of God and the ways of the Devil. The tradition of Easter cannot fit into the narrow path that Jesus commanded us to enter through.

LUKE 13:24 “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.”

MATTHEW 7:13-14 “13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

By doing things our way, we are directly telling God that His word is not as important as our heart—how can this be?

WHAT IS EASTER?

Easter or Resurrection Sunday is a festival commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. It is preceded by Lent—40 days of fasting, prayer, and penance. It should be realised that Easter and Passover are two different things; although the two focus on the death and resurrection of Jesus, one is from God and one is not. We will soon learn which is which.

Before we attempt to dissect Easter, let us get our thinking gear clicked into power. Let us pause and ask ourselves series of questions:

Many people have celebrated Easter, Easter Sunrise Service, and associated traditions for hundreds of years. As people began to ask questions about the traditions of Easter and their origin, so many things associated with Easter, one cannot find them in the Bible or they don’t line up with the word of God:

  1. What has hot cross buns got to do with the death and resurrection of Jesus?
  2. What is the origin of Easter eggs?
  3. Why are rabbit-laying eggs associated with Easter?
  4. Is Easter the same as Passover?
  5. Why are Easter eggs painted or dyed?
  6. Why is Easter Sunday (or resurrection Sunday) done on the first Sunday after the first full moon occurring on or after the vernal equinox?
  7. What is the origin of Easter Sunrise Service?
  8. What does God say about Easter Sunrise Service?
  9. Why is Easter named after the goddess of Spring Ishtar?
  10. Jesus said He will be in the grave for three days and three nights (72 hours), how can one fit 72 hours between Good Friday crucifixion and Easter Sunday Resurrection? Does this tally with the words of Jesus?
  11. Eostre was a goddess of spring or renewal and that’s why her feast is attached to the vernal equinox, why is this associated with Jesus?
  12. What are Easter bunnies and what is their origin?

To answer these questions properly, let us have a look at the overview of the origin of these practices.

THE ROOTS OF EASTER—AN OVERVIEW

To understand Easter and where it came from—whether it is from God or the Devil, let us go back in time:

Nimrod, a mighty man, is mentioned in Genesis: GENESIS 10:8 “And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.”

Nimrod is the father and originator of many pagan practices that we see today. He was worshipped and revered as Sun god. What Nimrod started got translated into many false gods recorded in the Bible: Baal, Molec, etc. People who followed Nimrod were associated with idolatry, demon worship, human sacrifice, and other occultic practices. Semiramis was the wife/mother of Nimrod. Wife/mother—how? You will understand why and how as you read further. When Nimrod died, Semiramis became pregnant and found another way to continue ruling the people by telling Nimrod’s followers that she was impregnated by the spirit of Nimrod.

Semiramis asserts that she was having a virgin birth from the spirit of Nimrod; she professed to have laid down with no man and was solely impregnated by Nimrod’s spirit. Semiramis made herself a goddess, claiming that she was supernaturally or divinely made. She was indeed the moon goddess and claims to have come down from the moon in a giant moon egg that fell in the Euphrates River.

She is the Queen of Babylon, otherwise known as Queen of Heaven or Ishtar or Semiramis; she became known as the moon goddess. When the child was born, the child of Semiramis, he was celebrated as a god; the child was seen as Nimrod reincarnated and has come back to life. The child, Tammuz, is celebrated on December 25th—his birthday. People were persuaded by Semiramis that Tammuz was the messiah they had been waiting for.

Tammuz was later killed by a wild boar, and Semiramis, now a widow of Nimrod and mother of Tammuz, came to be represented as a pagan fertility goddess.

The original Easter festival celebrated was a sex orgy that commemorated the return of life via the fertility goddess—the conception of Tammuz.

People who followed and worshipped Nimrod celebrated the conception of Tammuz on the first Sunday after the full moon that followed the Spring Equinox. They bake a cake with a cross on it as an offering to the queen of heaven (Semiramis); got involved in prostitution and sex orgies in the temple of Ishtar—later named Easter.

Women were required to lay down in the temple of Ishtar and have sex randomly with whoever comes in. The babies resulting from these perverted sexual practices would then be sacrificed to honour the gods. The priests of Easter will then take the blood of these babies sacrificed to Easter (Ishtar) and dye/paint Easter eggs as symbols of fertility. The Easter eggs would hatch on December 25.

As already mentioned, Tammuz was killed by a wild boar, and his mother (Semiramis) claims that he was resurrected in the form of new vegetation that appears on the earth. Semiramis also proclaim 40 days of mourning and sorrow for Tammuz—this latter became known as Lent.

These worshipers meditate on the mysteries of Baal and Tammuz, and they make a sign of a cross on their foreheads or their right hands (see Figure 1).  They also ate sacred cake marked with a cross on top—this latter became known as Easter Hot cross buns.

Figure 1: The practice of marking a cross on people’s forehead in what is known as Ash Wednesday, supposedly thinking it is the cross of Jesus, is a practice that originated from the worship of Tammuz—it has nothing to do with Jesus or the cross He was crucified on. This practice is idolatrous and very offensive to God.

On the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox, a celebration was made—it was Ishtar (Easter) Sunday. It was celebrated with rabbits and eggs—symbols of fertility. Because Tammuz was killed by a wild boar, Semiramis commanded that pigs should be eaten on Easter Sunday to honour Tammuz—this is known as Easter Ham (see Figure 2).

Figure 2: The practice of eating ham (pig’s meat) on Easter Sunday originated from the instruction given by Semiramis that people should eat pigs to honour Tammuz. This practice is offensive to God in twofold: (1) The practice itself is idolatrous and offensive to God (2): Eating pigs is forbidden (Isaiah 66:17 and Leviticus 11).

Before Christ was even born, these practices were there: the pagans worshipped the resurrection of their son of a god known as Tammuz, and the mother goddess was worshipped as a fertility goddess. What we have today (Easter) is still the same thing that they were doing in the times of Semiramis; today, it only has a modern name and modern twists and turns. The same gods that they were worshipping in the time of Tammuz are the same gods we have today. The names of these gods have only changed with time but they remain the same.

Table 1: Table illustrating the origin of the god of Easter. Easter is no different from Baal and Ashtoreth—they are known by different names in different dispensations and locations. Don’t be deceived by the Christian-sounding names given to these gods. Source: threader.app

Let us see some examples in the Bible; these ancients gods are known by many names:

1 KINGS 11:5-6 “5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. 6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and went not fully after the Lord, as did David his father.”

WHY EASTER IS NOT HOLY:

EASTER IS A WAY OF THE HEATHEN—DO NOT LEARN THEIR WAYS (JEREMIAH 10:2)

Easter is one of the ways God calls the ways of heathen or the ways of the other nations. Heathens are people outside the nation of Israel, who worship idols and not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. However, God is clear regarding what Christians should do with anything that is tainted with paganism: Jeremiah 10:2 “Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.”

God is very clear concerning what His children should do when it comes to any heathen practice: do not learn the ways of the heathen (Jeremiah. 10:2).

A question that should come to your mind is, why is God against the practices of the heathens? What does the Bible say about all these practices? So many people don’t study the Bible and don’t know that most of these practices are things that God outrightly commands against. Most of these practices predate Christ and have nothing to do with Jesus or the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Easter is syncretism—ways of God mixed with false ways—God commands against it (Deuteronomy 12:29-32).

EASTER SUNRISE SERVICES: AN ABOMINATION TO GOD

This practice originates from sun worship (worshipping of the sun) and predates Christ. Very early on Easter Sunday morning, people will gather somewhere in the open and face the rising sun towards the east and do Easter service. God clearly warns against sunrises services and people should not mix this with His ways. The practice of Easter sunrise service is sun worship rebranded as Easter or Christianised—if you like. People have been deceived to think that the rising sun represents Jesus’ resurrection—this is deception.

EZEKIEL 8:15-16: “15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these. 16 And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.”

This practice is an abomination before the Lord.

Figure 3: Easter sunrise service in modern times. This is sun worship rebranded as Christian, it has nothing to do with the resurrection of Jesus. The deception sold to people is that the rising sun symbolises Jesus rising from the dead. The Bible doesn’t mention all these; they are commandments of men. They are abominations to God

Easter sunrise service, as we know it today, is a pagan practice that predates Christ; the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is just a sticker pasted on something that God hates.  People do so supposedly thinking God will accept it—How can He when He clearly says do not mix My ways with false ways?

LENT, KNOWN AS WEEPING FOR TAMMUZ, IS AN ABOMINATION

The practice of Lent is part of Easter and precedes it; so many people observe this, but where did it come from? This originates from Weeping for Tammuz (the false Babylonian messiah), and God hates it. This practice originates from the instruction given by the queen of heaven (Semiramis) that people should observe 40 days of mourning for Tammuz. God warns against this in Ezekiel:

EZEKIEL 8:13-15 “13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do. 14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord’s house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. 15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.”

Lent (which is part of Easter) originates from “weeping For Tammuz” – an abominable practice God hates. People who do so today do it supposedly thinking that they are fasting, praying, and preparing themselves for God, and not knowing that they are taking part in idolatrous practice. Lent is an abomination rebranded as Christian.

EASTER HOT CROSS BUNS: BAKED TO THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN

The hot cross bun that people bake during Easter, where did it come from? Is the Bible in support of this?

JEREMIAH 7:18 “The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.”

People in those days were baking this to the Queen of heaven (aka Semiramis aka mother/wife of Tammuz—the false Babylonian Messiah). God hates this practice. This practice offers worship to the queen of heaven instead of the Most High God. Easter is from Ishtar—another name for Semiramis.

Figure 4: Easter Hot Cross Buns. This is the same cake they were baking to the queen of heaven; today, this abominable practice has been rebranded as something good but it is not.

GOOD FRIDAY CRUCIFIXION AND SUNDAY RESURRECTION DO NOT TALLY WITH THE BIBLE

The Good Friday crucifixion and Sunday resurrection go against the very word of Christ but so few question this. Christ said He will be in the grave three days and three nights (72 Hours, simple math). How can one fit 72 hours between Friday crucifixion and early Sunday resurrection?

MATHEW 24:39-40: “39 But he replied to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign. Yet no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah, 40 because just as Jonah was in the stomach of the sea creature for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.”

Jesus himself said:

JOHN 11:9 “Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.”

Jesus himself knows the length of day and night; how can people say Christ died on Friday and rose on Sunday? How can one fit in the sign of three days and three nights? The period of Jesus’ death, duration in the tomb, time of the resurrection, do not agree with so many passages in the Bible. See our article on Christ Resurrection Was Not on Sunday to learn more.

PAINTING/DYEING EASTER EGGS: AN ABOMINATION

These are practices of the heathens and have nothing to do with the death and resurrection of Jesus. These are things related to fertility rituals that the heathens do and God hates these practices. Christians should stay clear away from anything God commands against. From the overview of the roots of Easter, Easter eggs were dyed with the blood of infants sacrificed to gods in the temple of Easter (Ishtar) by Easter priests (see Figure 5). Easter eggs: the symbol of the fertility and rebirth of life; reference to woman’s reproduction. Nothing about Easter is harmless.

Figure 5: Dyed or painted Easter eggs are fertility rituals that God hates; this practice persists to the present day. People have believed the deception that the egg represents the tomb in which Jesus was laid, and when the egg breaks it symbolises that Jesus has risen from the dead. Where can we see this in the Bible? Nowhere—they are manmade and idolatrous.

EASTER IS THE WORSHIP OF THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN (SEMIRAMIS)

JEREMIAH 44:19-29

“19 And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men? 20 Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying, 21 The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the Lord remember them, and came it not into his mind? 22 So that the Lord could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day. 23 Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the Lord, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day. 24 Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the Lord, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt: 25 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows. 26 Therefore hear ye the word of the Lord, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the Lord, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord God liveth. 27 Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them. 28 Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or their’s. 29 And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the Lord, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:

Semiramis is the queen of heaven; she is known by many names (see Table 1). Easter is the worship of fertility goddess Easter (Ishtar) and Tammuz. God is furious with all who involve in Easter worship. The Devil has deceived the whole world by presenting these idolatrous practices with Christian-sounding names. Easter and all associated practices: hot ross buns, sunrise services, Easter bunnies, Lent—all offer worship to other gods and not Jesus or the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

EASTER BUNNIES & EASTER HAM

Easter bunnies are symbols of fertility, referencing the mother goddess (see Figure 6). These practices and symbols representing them are not holy and are very offensive to God. Christians should stay clear away from these practices: Eating Easter ham commemorates the death of Tammuz and has nothing to do with Jesus (see Figure 2). Because Tammuz was killed by a wild boar, Semiramis (aka queen of heaven) commanded people to eat pig to commemorate Tammuz—who will you obey?

Figure 6: Rabbit is one of the most fertile animals on the earth and hence they are used as a symbol representing the fertility goddess—Semiramis aka Queen of Heaven. This is an abomination to the Lord.

THE DATES OF EASTER POINT TO THE SUN god TAMMUZ

The resurrection is key to the Christian faith; Jesus was crucified during the Feast of Passover and the Unleavened Bread. If we are truly worshipping the day of His resurrection, it should always align with Passover. Sadly, Easter dates don’t always align with Passover.

Easter and Passover are different and are not held at the same time. There is no command in the Bible instructing people to celebrate Easter—there is none. How the dates for Easter are determined is different from the Passover.

How are Easter dates determined?

Why is Easter done on the first Sunday after the first full moon occurring on or after the vernal equinox? Although Easter dates may coincide with the dates of the Passover, Easter dates have nothing to do with the period of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and in fact, they can be held a month apart. How can people celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus before the actual time comes? There is something wrong—this does not agree with the Bible. The dates of Easter point to the worship of other gods and have nothing to do with Jesus; Easter dates point to the sun god Tammuz and fertility goddess Semiramis (aka queen of heaven).

How is Passover Date determined?

Passover always starts on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Nissan. Just like Easter, it is not held on the same day every year, and the explanation is in Leviticus 23: 4-6.

Who Changed it?

In AD 325, the Council of Nicaea decided to set its date to celebrate Easter instead of Passover. The date set was the first full moon after March 21. March 21 is the first day of Spring on the Gregorian calendar. This date was not random but carefully selected by the Council and the emperor to bring the heathens on board. Spring represents a new beginning—the period when vegetation comes back to life after the Winter. Semiramis is the fertility goddess and Tammuz, her son, was the false Babylonian Messiah; Tammuz was believed by the pagans to have resurrected in the form of new vegetation after his death. Easter dates point to Tammuz and Semiramis—don’t be fooled; it has nothing to do with Jesus or the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Table 2: Table presenting dates on which Easter and Passover were held from 2000 to 2013. It can be seen that they are not held at the same time although they may come close or coincide; they are two different events. The dates alone are enough reasons for one to keep away from this idolatry called Easter. Source: truthunedited.com

Example:

2005

Easter = March 27

Passover = April 22

How can they represent the same thing? They are two different things. One is from God and the other is not; Easter is not from God.

CELEBRATING EASTER: HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?

By celebrating Easter (even the supposed modified version of it), how different are we from the men of Judah that were offering sacrifices to the queen of heaven (Easter, Ishtar, Semiramis)? The same thing they were doing and causing God to be very angry, we are still doing the same thing today. Easter is just a sticker pasted on something God hates with all fibres of His being. The instruction is clear:

2 CORINTHIANS 6:17 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

CELEBRATING EASTER: WHERE IS THE SANCTIFICATION AND HOLINESS?

So many people who claim to be sanctified and holy are still keeping this idolatrous holiday—either in ignorance, deception, or in rebellion. Where is the sanctification? Sanctification means to set apart for holy use or purpose. How can you claim to be sanctified (set apart) and still do what is unholy? Set apart for disobedience? Sanctified to offer worship to Semiramis or Queen of Heaven?  Some people don’t celebrate Christmas but Easter. Easter is garnished with the very things that made you avoid Christmas. Easter is idolatrous as Christmas—the two are from the same pot. Where is the spiritual sanity in this? Don’t be deceived with Christian-sounding names pasted on blatant paganism.

People say that Easter has been hijacked by pagans—is this true? The answer is No. It is the other way round. What belongs to the pagan was stolen by fake Christians. The pagans should point fingers at the fake Christians for taking over their pagan feast.

SUMMARY

The death and resurrection of Jesus is just a STICKER on existing pagan traditions (Easter). The Roman emperor and the Roman Empire mixed the death and resurrection of the false Babylonian messiah Tammuz with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This was done by the Roman emperor to appease the pagans and for political reasons. Easter is Syncretism and God’s instruction concerning syncretism is clear—DO NOT LEARN THESE WAYS. Easter is just an old pagan tradition rebranded as Christian with modern twists and turns. Thou shall not do so unto the Lord thy God.

Thanks for for your advice; we will look into it.

  • In my humble opinion, the only error I see while reading this post is the Crucifixion and Resurrection date. Jesus DID resurrect on Sunday, the first day of the week; therefore, His being crucified had to be on Thursday. All other information was highly informative, thank you.

    • Your decision is not based on the Biblical calendar. Your Sunday resurrection is based on the information you follow according to the Gregorian calendar, which is the calendar that our world switched to in order to have all follow the sun rather than God’s timeline. Our world worships on a sun day. Some think they worship on the sabbath/ saturday… but they aren’t worshiping on the sabbath either. They are worshiping scouting to the calendar that counts according to the sun also, but they choose Saturday.
God’s timeline moves according to the signs in the heavens (sun, moon and stars working together). How long is a woman pregnant? 9 months or 10 lunar months? More accurately is 10 lunar months. God’s calendar is kept by the full moon. By following the Gregorian calendar no one knows when the sabbath is or when the Biblical holidays are.

  • I agree and I also know Christ did not arise Sunday morning he arose before the Mary’s who arose early Sunday morning (first day of the week) to go prepare his body at the tomb because they did not have time to do so when he died and was laid in the tomb just before the sunset on the Passover first Holiday and many people do not understand the evening of each day starts a new day as explained in the beginning the evening and the morning were the first day etc and yet people acknowledge “Christmas” EVE and “New Years” Eve and All Hallow’s Eve. Which all point the truth that the day starts and ends at evening not midnight. Christ kept the “Passover” a day early with his disciples and he himself changed the Passover symbols etc to the Lord’s supper he told us to remember what he had done for all humanity and he would come celebrate it with us in the Kingdom. The Lord’s supper started the beginning of a New Covenant because at his death veil was rent there was no longer a need for Levicital priesthood because Christ became the Passover, he took on all the leaven the sin of the world for all time. All people and generations who would accept his sacrifice. With a contrite heart and repentance and walking a new path. He thus eliminated the spring Holy days and we can prove it with scripture He was also the wave sheaf offering needing to be accepted by God before the first fruits could be accepted.

Every saint who died prior to Christ see Hebrews 11 and Hebrews 9:27 arose from their graves at his death and they went with Christ when he finally ascended to the throne next to his father 10 days prior to Pentecost. Yes I know Acts 2 speaks about David’s grave being with us to this day. Big deal so is Christs but that does not mean they are in them. In fact Matthew 27:50-53 shows that Saints awoke and came out of their graves and they did not die again they cannot they are the 144,000 in Revelation 14 and the 144,000 in Revelation 7 are NOT the same group at all. The first fruits have already been taken and were accepted by God via Christ the Passover lamb, the Wave Sheaf offering and he sent the Holy Spirit as a comforter for Pentecost when full measure was given Act 2 to all his apostles that day and fulfilling Pentecost as well. We have much more but sorry the Passover, Days of unleavened bread, Wave Sheaf offering, Pentecost, Trumpets and Atonement have all been fulfilled by Christ. Already. His 10 commandments are intact however all 10 including the 7th day Sabbath which is one of his seals of protection.

Fulfilling the Pentecost as well and he was the atonement and still he is the only intercessor we need after the order of Melchizedek he became our high priest as well as King and older brother.

Trumpets was fulfilled when the Levitical priesthood ended the Passover prior to Christ resurrection was the Last legitimate blowing of trumpets by the replaced priesthood. Christ replaced them and ended the need to tithe as well.

Christ himself told his apostles to not take money from the people for a living but offering were acceptable.

Christ has the only authority to change any and all of it and he is the Lord of the Sabbath. The only Holy days not yet fulfilled besides the New created by Christ the Lords’s Supper is the Feast of Tabernacles and the Last Great day see Zech 14. http://www. ekklesiachurchofgod.com
