DID GOD GATHER THE TRUE ISRAELITES IN 1948?

DISCLAIMER

Before we delve into the study, we need to state this strongly: this article is not about salvation or entering into the kingdom of God—none of these. This article is all about making the records straight. If you understand who the true Biblical Israelites are, chances are, you are likely to understand the Bible correctly. On almost every page of your Bible, the Israelites are written on it; if you don’t know who the true Biblical Israelites are, how can you understand the Bible? We are not saying that you have to be of a particular colour of skin or race to be saved or make it to the kingdom of God—we are not saying that. This article is all about correcting history that has been distorted. We believe irrespective of colour or race, if you follow the God of Israel wholeheartedly and keep His laws, statutes, commandments, and judgements, He will have mercy on you.

In 1948 the political state of Israel was created by the United Nations shortly after the second world war. Let us pause and ask questions: Was God behind the creation of the political state of Israel? Has He (God) gathered all the twelve tribes of Israel? Have all the prophecies and promises of restoration that we have seen in Part 3 (The True Biblical Israelites Gathered From Captivity From The Four Corners of The Earth At Christ’s Return) been fulfilled? The truth is, the biblical Israelites are still in captivity and will be gathered at Christ’s return. Let us look at the pages of the Bible to see if 1948 Israel agrees with the Bible.

POINT ONE

ZECHARIAH 2:3-6

So many people use the above reference as a proof text to illustrate that God has gathered the Israelites in 1948. Is this the truth? If we dwell only on verses 3-6, one may easily conclude that it has happened. Whenever God wants to do something, there are markers (indicators) and when it happens, you will know it. Let us read further to get a clear picture. Verses 10-11:  “10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord. 11 And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto thee.”

Have all the things God stated in Zechariah 2:5,10-13 been fulfilled? The answer is no. As long as these things are yet to happen, the Lord is yet to gather Israel. When God has gathered Israel, all the things outlined in this chapter will be fulfilled (not just some)—whether before or after the gathering—everything will be fulfilled in the correct timeline. If you are honest, you will know that all these things did not happen in 1948. The land has to be holy before the Lord can dwell in the land; all these are yet to happen—the land is still desecrated with Pride parades and all sorts of abominations.

POINT TWO

THE NUMBER OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL

Hosea 1:10-11

“10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God. 11 Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.”

God said the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea which cannot be measured or numbered. The true number of the biblical Israelites is much more than 10 million—it is like the sands of the sea. The children of children, when they are truly gathered, will be just as God has spoken. The biblical Israelites are yet to be gathered; they are still scattered among the nations.

Watch verse 11: The Lord said He will gather both Israel and Judah and they will have one head—has this happened? Not yet. Are all the twelve tribes gathered? No, they are still scattered among the heathens. Judah is only one tribe; there are still other 11 tribes.

POINT THREE

ISAIAH 66:8

“8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”

The Lord will gather Israel again by Himself and not through the United Nations. He will do by his mighty power just as the times of the old.

ISAIAH 66:12-21

12 For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. 13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. 14 And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the Lord shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies. 15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. 16 For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many. 17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord. 18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. 19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. 20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Lord out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord. 21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the Lord.

If you look at the passage above, there are key things the Lord mentioned. When the children of Israel are gathered, there will be peace (not a fragile and epileptic peace). Is there peace in the land of Israel today? No, there is no peace. If the biblical Israelites are back in the land, it will be as the Lord has stated—there will be peace. Notice something in verse 17, what is it? Those eating abominable things and breaking the dietary law will be consumed. Currently, pork eating is still common in the land and the Lord will stay true to His word. There will be no pork (and other unclean meat; no uncleanness) in the land; there will be no homosexuality.

POINT FOUR

EZEKIEL 20:34-38

34 And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. 35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. 36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord God. 37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: 38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

Has the Lord gathered all the Israelites and taken them to the wilderness? This is yet to happen. The Lord will once again plead with Israel just like He pleaded with their fathers in the wilderness in the time past. The Lord will do exactly as He has said—nothing more and nothing less. As long as this has not taken place, the children of Israel are yet to be gathered from captivity. This did not happen in 1948.

POINT FIVE

EZEKIEL 36:22-38

22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord God; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. 23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. 24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. 28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. 29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. 30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen. 31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. 32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord God, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel. 33 Thus saith the Lord God; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. 34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. 35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. 36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it. 37 Thus saith the Lord God; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. 38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

When the Lord has gathered all the biblical Israelites, He will cleanse the land; there will be no unclean things in the land. Is the land of Israel completely clean? No, it is not. People are still eating pork; people are still doing the Pride parade. There are a lot of abominable things happening in the land. Let us pause and ask a question: why would the Lord drive the Israelites into captivity because of iniquity and uncleanness and then allow the same thing to prevail in the land? Do you think God is confused? He is not! People have not correctly identified the biblical Israelites. The land needs to be cleansed and that has not happened yet. The land needs to be cleansed from all the things He detests (Ezekiel 20:30-33). When Jesus has gathered all the remnants, all Israel will serve the Lord (Ezekiel 20:39-44). Did all these happen in 1948? The answer is obvious; the answer is no.

POINT SIX

LUKE 21:20-24

20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Notice verse 24: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.  Has the time of the Gentiles been fulfilled? The answer is no. The Gentiles are still in rulership and their kingdom will end when Jesus comes the second time. Who are the gentiles? Please refer to Part One to understand who the Gentiles are. As long as the times of the Gentiles are not yet fulfilled, Jerusalem will continue to be trodden by the Gentiles. Once the biblical Israelites are gathered, Jerusalem will no more be trodden. What do the Gentiles seek? See Matthew 6:31-33.

POINT SEVEN

JOEL 3:16-18

16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. 17 So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more. 18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

Has the above passage been fulfilled? If you are honest your answer will be no. This is yet to happen. Who is in the land today? It is someone other than Jacob. When the biblical Israelites are gathered, this will happen as the Lord has spoken in the above passage.  Did this happen in 1948? The answer is obvious; the answer is no.

POINT EIGHT

Ezekiel 25:13-15

13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword. 14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord God. 15 Thus saith the Lord God; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;

Did those living in the land of Israel today fulfill this? No! This is yet to be fulfilled. It will happen when the Lord comes again the second time.

POINT NINE

WHO OCCUPIES THE LAND?

EZEKIEL 36:4-6

4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about; 5 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey. 6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:

The Idumeans, the Gentiles, and the Ishmaelites have possed the land today.

SUMMARY

The gathering of the biblical Israelites is yet to happen; the 1848 creation of the political state of Israel does not fit so many prophecies and promises outlined in the Bible. When the true biblical Israelites (see Parts 1,  2 & 3) are gathered, every promise and prophecy related to the gathering will happen as the Lord has spoken. No one can force prophecy—no one can!
